24-Hour THC Intake Calculator: Total mg THC
Estimate total THC in milligrams from the cannabis products a patient used in 24 hours, from flower and vapes to edibles, with a copyable report.

What it calculates
The calculator turns a patient's account of cannabis use over the past 24 hours into an estimated total THC content in milligrams. A single number in mg makes heavy daily use easier to document and compare across visits than "a few hits" or "a couple of gummies".
How products are entered
Products are entered one of two ways:
- Amount × potency for flower or bud, pre-rolls, vape cartridges or oil, and concentrates (wax, shatter, rosin). Enter grams used and % THC; mg THC = grams × (% THC / 100) × 1000. Typical potencies are prefilled (20% for flower and pre-rolls, 80% for vape oil, 75% for concentrates) and can be edited to match the label.
- mg per unit × units for edibles, infused beverages, capsules or tablets, and tincture or oil drops. Typical mg per unit is prefilled (10 mg for edibles and capsules, 5 mg for beverages and tinctures) and can be edited.
An "other product" row takes any custom item entered as mg per unit × units.
Interpreting the total
The tool uses 10 mg THC as the reference for one standard retail serving and converts the total into servings:
| Total THC / 24 h | Flag shown |
|---|---|
| 1-10 mg | About a single standard serving |
| 11-100 mg | Multiple servings, with the number of 10 mg servings |
| >100 mg | High daily THC content: assess tolerance, cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome and psychiatric risk |
What the report includes and its limits
The report lists the date, each product used with its arithmetic, the total in mg and in 10 mg servings, and a context note. The estimate is THC content consumed, based on labels and typical potency. It is not the absorbed (bioavailable) dose, which is lower and depends on the route.
